  Following in his brothers' footsteps, Jonathan Bryant began writing music while Dan was overseas. Upon Dan's return in 2006 they began to record Jon's solo effort. Jon wrote the majority of the songs core with the vocals, lyrics and acoustic guitar and Dan provided the backup vocals, piano, drums, bass and electric guitars. The album is mainly influenced by some of their favorite artists such as Something Corporate, Dashboard Confessional, Lifehouse, and Goo Goo Dolls.
